All of the major brands including Aston Martin, Audi, Mercedes and many more will be appearing at the show with their new and improved vehicles. At the press preview event on Monday some of the main vehicles in this year’s show were debuted including the Bentley EXP, Audi R8 and Vauxhall Viva. We have previously written about The Most Expensive Celebrity Cars however even some of those don’t compare to the new cars seen at The Geneva Motor Show!

With hundreds of new cars being showcased there is a lot to look forward to so here are some of the top cars at the event:

Audi R8
The next generation Audi R8 will appear at the Geneva Motor Show this March. The R8 has all the same integral elements however every component of the car has been upgraded or completely changed. Ulrich Hackenberg, Audi’s technical development boss, said: “With the new R8, our engineers are bringing accumulated racing expertise from the race track to the road. No other Audi is closer to a race car.” This R8 will only be sold with a V10 engine to make the most out of its performance.

Ferrari 488 GTB
The brand new 488 GTB Ferrari has a turbocharged engine and goes from 0-62 mph in three seconds which is actually the same as the previous Ferrari 458. However, this Ferrari has a 3.9 litre twin-turbo V8 with a seven-speed dual-clutch auto box. Ferrari has claimed that the newer 488 model can do a lap of their Fiorano test track half a second quicker than the 458. The new model includes up-to-date controls and technology including a Side Slip Angle Control system which helps with drift.

Ford Focus RS
Announced on the same day as the Ferrari 488, the Ford Focus had a lot to compete with however it still stole the limelight. The Ford Focus RS is popular with fans of fast hatch backs especially now the RS has an appealing ‘drift mode’ feature.

Jeep Renegade Hard Steel Concept
This new Jeep model has brushed steel paintwork and matte black bonnet vents, roof bars, bumpers and alloy wheels. With raised suspension and BF Goodrich all-terrain tyres, this vehicle is the perfect SUV. The interior of the car has a sophisticated look with Frau Century leather seats in a lead colour which is soft to the touch. This is one of the most unique Renegades ever and a trailer was even made for the Geneva Motor Show purely to show the wide range of options you can have with Jeep’s Mopar accessories. The trailer for the show has a touch screen device to show everyone the interior technology of the car. The new Renegade even has the latest Uconnect LIVE in-car technology and its own WiFi hotspot!

Range Rover Evoque Facelift
As the most efficient car ever in 2011, the Range Rover Evoque has a lot to live up to. Over the past few years the industry has caught up with the Evoque which is why Land Rover has given their SUV a facelift. Land Rover has added new engines and a safety kit to make sure the car is still top of the range. The new engine promises CO2 emissions of 109g/km while the interior has new materials, colours and a fresh app-based InControl info-tainment system.

Nissan Sway Concept
Nissan will reveal its Nissan Sway at the Geneva Motor Show as a first glimpse into what the company may have to offer in 2016. This new supermini is a complete change to the Micra and Nissan are rumoured to be going for a sportier and slicker look.

Renault Kadjar SUV
With a return of 7.4mpg economy and CO2 emissions of 99g/km this new crossover SUV is perfect for any eco-friendly driver. The car comes with a choice of three engines which are sourced from the Nissan Quashqai, offering the choice of petrol or diesel. Renault has fitted start/stop technology and aerodynamic aids which help reduce CO2 output by 4g/km.

The Geneva Motor Show is great for motor traders as they can preview some of the newest cars within the industry and plan what to buy for their forecourts in 2015.
